Jewelery care

1. Cleaning
The majority of our jewellery is gold-plated with 18K gold plating. As the silver jewellery is gold-plated, we therefore recommend that you do not use too much manual effort when cleaning. Use only lukewarm water and a soft fiber cloth. Do not clean the jewelry too often.

2. Take off the jewellery when you are in contact with water, sweat and other chemicals .

Gold-plated silver jewellery wears out incredibly if it comes into contact with water, sweat, perfumes and other chemicals. It is important that you take off your jewellery when, for example, playing sports, taking a shower or applying creams.

ATTENTION Our stainless steel jewellery can withstand water, sweat and perfume.

3. Do not sleep with the jewellery on
To avoid the jewellery being exposed to shock and rotation during the night, we recommend that you take off your jewellery before going to bed.

4. Storage in a jewellery box 
All Berchia jewellery comes in a jewellery box, which you can use as a great advantage for storage. It is recommended that you store your jewellery out of sunlight. Keep it in the dark and in a dry place instead. A good idea is to store the jewellery in our closed jewellery box.

5. Avoid placing the jewellery in direct sunlight and avoid hard surfaces.
Avoid placing the jewellery in direct sunlight as this can cause discolouration.
